In his Holy Rule Saint Benedict reminds monks that all guests are to be welcomed as Christ. At Belmont we strive to continue this monastic tradition and welcome all who are sincerely seeking to grow into a deeper communion with God. Single accommodation is available for men within the enclosure of the monastery and meals are taken in refectory with the Community. The monastic day takes its rhythm from the regular celebration of Holy Mass and the Divine Office in the Abbey church.

Guests are warmly invited to join with the Community in these acts of worship, and to respect and share the general silence of the Monastery as much as possible. The enclosure affords ample opportunity for private prayer and generally to enjoy the beauty and tranquillity of monastery gardens.
